Why Prop. A Matters for Coppell ISD Students & Staff
Prop. A would add 3.17 copper pennies to the district’s Maintenance and Operations tax rate, providing Coppell ISD with crucial funds to cover operational costs like staff salaries, adjusting for inflation and providing livable wages and for safety and security including our SROs and SRDs, all while maintaining a low overall tax rate. By voting YES, we ensure that Coppell ISD can continue to provide exceptional safety and security measures and support for our dedicated staff.
Tax impact: Approx. $14 per month for the average household
Total funds raised: $2.4 million
The VATRE will not raise taxes for residents over 65
